School Location
Berger Park Cultural Center, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd, Chicago originally named the Downey Mansion, this historic landmark is one of the few remaining mansions that once lined Chicago’s Lakefront. This quaint mansion has breathtaking lake views just minutes from downtown. Our main studio room is on the second floor and overlooks the lake and mansion veranda. The relaxing atmosphere makes concentrating that much easier. Our second studio is also located on the 2nd floor.
Parking:
The Ultimate School of Guitar has limited parking.
Parents can also relax at the Waterfront Cafe located next door to the Berger Park Cultural Center. Enjoy a drink and appetizer and take in the view while your child is taking their music lesson.

Taking the L:
- Take the Red Line and get off at the Granville stop.
- Make a right out of the front door heading East toward the lake.
- Go down 1-1/2 blocks, and you will be at Sheridan Road, crossing over.
- We are in the mansion on the corner of Granville and Sheridan.
We also run programs at five Park Districts.
These include Chicago Park District, Wilmette Park District, Highland Park District, Morton Grove Park District, and Norridge Park District. If you live in one of these towns, you can register at that park districts online site, or in person. You can also contact us for more information on how to enroll.
